The bottom picture is the original. All I did to the photo was make it black and white. This photo could mean music is everywhere.

Still Life - Ancient History
I didn't edit this photo! This is a Elvis record from the 1970's but the record player isn't more than 10 years old.

I was really impressed by those pictures, I thought I wouldn't like them. But taking those kinds of pictures would be really hard. You would really have to think outside of the box just to get a decent shot of nothing.

Blog Response #12
I did the 3 movie worksheets, I did the Comp. Tech and the Student Comp. Tech, and I did the portraits. I still need to take 2 more shots on the nature assignment, I think.
I did fill out a evaluation sheet for every project... I'm pretty sure. I did respond to each blog response in 3 or more sentences. But I could've used my time more wisely. I will use it more wisely in the future.

Portrait - Location MP
The top is the original. I thought this background was definitely unusual.... For this picture I increase the clarity and the brightness and I also put a black and white filter on it.

Portrait - Profile Portrait MP
The top is the original. For this one I adjusted the brightness and the contrast. I also added a filter and I slightly increased the vibrance.
Portrait - 'Famous Portrait' MP
The top one is the original. I edited this picture by adjusting the brightness, contrast, clarity, and I added a black and white filter. I tried my best to match the black and white in the Elvis picture. My brother's blonde hair doesn't make it any easier either...

Nature - Clouds MP
The top picture is the original. For this picture I increased the clarity and the contrast and then I put a filter on it called "summer". I also cropped it.
Portrait - Personality Portrait MP
The top photo is the original. In this picture of my dad I was trying to capture his silliness. I think you can really see the mischief in his eyes in this shot. All I did to this photo was adjust the brightness, contrast and then put a black and white filter on it.
Nature - Natural Water MP
The top one is the original. I didn't do much to this one. I only increased the clarity and the brightness.

This story reminds me of the story last year where a school altered photos to make their clothes cover more. I think that it's definitely messed up that they would do that without permission. But the school did say that it was a mistake, and I'm glad that they are going to replace them.

If I could go anywhere in the world to take pictures I think it would be Tornado Alley (Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska etc.). I've always wanted to chase storms and photograph super cells, tornadoes, and lightning. If I were to go outside of the USA, I don't know where I'd go. I would be happy to go anywhere.

These pictures of homeless people are quite powerful in many ways. Even if the picture isn't spectacular, it still means a lot. Like, the picture of the person walking in front of the homeless person. At first I thought that it was a terrible picture because the person walking was blocking most of the shot but then I realized that it has a strong message; that most people just walk on by and don't do anything to help. The picture that stuck out to me the most was #6 of gallery 1. It was a picture of a homeless man who looked like he was crying.

Anton's pictures are definitely very dramatic and beautiful. They seem a little dark and they have a certain edge to them. Anton also has a very cool job in my opinion, I would love to meet different celebrities and take pictures of them. The celebrity I would love to photograph is Elvis Presley (if only I was alive when he was) simply because he's beautiful and I'm a huge fan. I would take tons of pictures of him like Alfred Wertheimer.
